What we collect

When you get a café's loyalty card through Loyaltea we keep your first name and mobile number, the stamps and rewards on each card, and the time of each stamp. If you add a card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet we also keep the device token Apple or Google use to update it. We don't collect your location: the "you're near the café" reminder is triggered by your phone itself and never reaches us.

Why

So the card is yours, so it follows you to a new phone, and so the café can give you stamps and your reward. We use your number to send a verification code only when you sign in from another phone or change your number.

What the café sees

The café sees your first name, your stamps and rewards, and when you visited. The café does not see or receive your mobile number. If a café stops using Loyaltea it loses all access to this data; your account stays yours for other cafés.

Messages

A café may send offers as notifications through your Wallet card. You can stop them by removing the card from Wallet. We don't send marketing by WhatsApp or SMS.

Sharing and retention

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone except the service providers that run Loyaltea (hosting, and delivery of verification codes). Detailed stamp history is kept for 12 months, then reduced to monthly totals.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all your cards at any time from My cards. Questions: privacy@loyaltea.me
